Download Zoom on our website by just clicking the download button above. We also provide corresponding download links to Google Play and Apple Store.

  • Open Zoom.
  • Join a meeting by meeting ID or teleconferencing number.
  • Enter the meeting ID number and your display name.
  • Select if you would like to connect audio and/or video and tap Join Meeting.
  • You can set your display name when joining the meeting.
  • You can also change your display name during the meeting simply following these steps: tap on the “Participants”; fine you name on the list and tap on it; tap the “Rename” button and you will see the “Enter a new screen name” frame, enter your new display name and tap “OK” to confirm the change.
  • During a meeting on Zoom, tap on the “More” button, which is in the bottom right of the screen.
  • Tap “Raise Hand” in the pop-up at the bottom of your screen.
  • Tap “More” again and then “Lower Hand” to lower it if needed.
  • While in a Zoom meeting, tap “More”.
  • Tap “Virtual Background”.
  • Tap the background you would like to apply; or tap “+” to upload a new image.
  • Tap “Close” after selecting the background to retire to the meeting.
  • For the one who joins the meeting, it’s free.
  • For the host, Zoom offers 4 pricing tiers.
  • Zoom Free: this tier is free and offers an unlimited number of meetings. Yet group meetings with multiple participants are capped at 40 minutes in length, and meetings cannot be recorded.
  • Zoom Pro: this tier costs $14.99 per month and allows hosts to create personal meeting IDs for repetitive Zoom meetings. Meeting recording in the cloud or your device is also allowed, but it caps group meeting durations at 24 hours.
  • Zoom Business: this one costs $19.99 per month and allows users to brand Zoom meetings with vanity URLs and company brading and offers transcripts of Zoom meetings recorded in the Cloud.
  • Zoom Rooms: anyone who wants to set up Zoom Rooms can sign up for a free 20-day trial, after which Zoom Rooms require an additional $49 per month. Zoom Rooms support up to 1000 video participants or 10000 webinar viewers, with unlimited scheduling displays.
  • All Zoom plans allow up to 100 participants by default in each meeting up to 1000 with add-on plans.
  • Google Meet is more suitable for small, quick meetings, since you don’t have to download or install an app to use it. You can just go to the Google Meet website and start a video call with your Google account, share the URl with your participants and they can join the meeting after logging in.
  • Zoom is better for large scale meetings. Even with the free plan, you can call up to 100 participants, record a call, mute participants, chat, share documents or your screen, make HD video calls, use a whiteboard or virtual backgrounds, send emojis, and a lot more.
