Latest update: New tools and technology to label AI-generated content
A new tool has been launched on TikTok to allow creators to label their synthetic videos. This tool is available now to all creators upon downloading the app, encouraging creators to better follow TikTok’s current policy around synthetic videos. Once labeled, a message that reads “creator labeled as AI-generated” will be displayed below the username on the video for everyone to see. In addition, all TikTok effects that use AI are renamed by including explicit “AI” in their names.
TikTok is a short-video social platform powered by music, with which users can create and share fun music videos anytime anywhere they want. You can add a song to your video, choosing from the app's song bank or picking a song stored in your device.
TikTok is available for both Android and iOS users from Google Play Store and App Store. It enables you to edit your video with songs, special effects filters, fun stickers and more. TikTok also warned that realistic AI-generated videos without proper disclosure will be removed. However, AI content that doesn’t fall under the current synthetic media policy is not required to be labeled.

It also lets you edit your videos with over 100 emoji stickers, face filters, and beauty effects.
Musically was acquired by ByteDance, a Chinese company in November 2017. The Musically app was now absorbed into its own TikTok app in the US market, while TikTok app will remain a standalone app in China where it's known as Douyin.
