On Nov. 12, 2020, three-time Grammy winner, Canadian singer, The Weeknd, announced that he’ll be heading the Super Bowl 55 halftime show in Tampa, Florida. Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, who goes by the stage name The Weeknd, is one of the biggest rising stars in the last few years. From upbeat pop bops to mellow, risque R&B hits, this man can do it all and do it well. He will definitely have his opportunity to showcase that on Feb. 7.

Super Bowl 55 will take place on Sunday, Feb. 7 between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The Super Bowl halftime show will likely start shortly after 8 p.m. ET. The game itself kicks off at about 6:30 and ends in about 90 minutes.
