Besides, various states across the USA are also organizing their own stimulus checks and payouts to help their residents.
For those who haven't yet received the full amount of their 2021 stimulus payments that they were entitled to, they still have a chance to backdate their stimulus checks. The state is also looking to help residents with their winter heating bills.
California launched the Golden State Stimulus in two parts: Golden State Stimulus I and Golden State Stimulus II. California sent out 750,000 bonus stimulus checks worth between $600 and $1,100 this week. Eligible residents of the state are in line to receive these additional checks.
