Award season came to a close on Sunday, April 25, as the 93rd Academy Awards aired live out of Los Angeles’s Union Station and Dolby Theatre. Chloe Zhao took home the best directing trophy, becoming the second woman to claim the title. Her film, Nomadland, also snagged the top prize of the night, best picture. Though this year’s Oscar is over, there is still plenty of time for us to get caught up on these wonderful films. Netflix has always been adding and updating TV shows and movies all the time. It offers great streaming quality and original shows. This year, Netflix won the Oscar night, taking home seven trophies, two for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, two for Mank and then individual awards for best live-action short, best animated short and best documentary feature.

Amazon Prime Video received 12 nominations across four heart-breaking, hilarious, and never-more-relevant feature films: from Time, a moving documentary about one family’s experience of the criminal justice system, to provocateur Sacha Baron Cohen’s incendiary Borat 2, and of course, the two-time-Oscar-winner, Sound of Metal.
Hulu is a free online application that provides hundreds of latest TV shows and films for users. Currently there are four Oscar nominees and winners on Hulu, including Best Picture Nomadland and the winner of International Feature Film Another Round.
