With Ring app, you can watch over your home from your phone, iPad, or Mac with Wi-Fi connected Video Doorbells and Security cameras at any time and any places.
When someone presses your Doorbell or trigger the built-in motion sensors, the Ring will send you instant alerts, and if you answer it, you can see, hear and speak to people in the front of your door from your mobile devices.
Ring is expanding the capabilities of its Ring app to add third-party security cameras that support the ONVIF standard for the first time. ONVIF, short for The Open Network Video Interface Forum, allows devices from different manufacturers to communicate with each other. Starting from April, users with Ring Protect Pro subscription and a Ring Alarm Pro base station will be able to use their non-Ring ONVIF-compatible cameras to gain access to Ring app features.
Ring starts as a smart doorbell company, and gradually expanded into other home security products. It works without a monthly subscription, or you can opt for the low-cost premium plan for additional features. By the way, the Ring app is available on many platforms than many other home security apps, and you don't need a professional installation team to help you.
